Fair Share Housing Center’s Amicus Brief in Lawsuit Against Governor Murphy to Appoint Members to COAH (2023)

This is Fair Share Housing Center’s Amicus Brief in a lawsuit filed by multiple municipalities against Governor Murphy seeking for him to appoint individuals to the Council on Affordable Housing (COAH). We argue that the Supreme Court correctly deemed COAH moribund, and continued court involvement in the Mount Laurel process is necessary to protect low-income residents’ access to affordable housing.
